Derived from the 'Rancho Réal' single vineyard located within the Santa Maria Valley, the Syrah grape flourish in one of California's most successful cool-climate vineyard sites. This region offers an extended growing season, nurturing the vines to achieve an extraordinary level of intricacy and expression. Notably, the creation of 'Rotundone,' the molecule responsible for the peppery essence in wines, is encouraged by cooler climates, diminished light exposure, and an extended duration of maturation on the vine.
A deliciously complex Syrah, marked by its lively acidity and layers of vivid pepperiness, black olive, violets, liquorice and white flowers. Smooth and textured with a long finish.
